The area had some beautiful spots. Many trials were steep and slightly washed out. Definitely wear sturdy shoes. Lots of dog poop on the trail which was super disappointing, especially being a dog owner myself. People, pick up after your dogs please! Decent enough place to get out and hike around.

Love this breath of fresh air right in Napa! There are a lot of side trails so I don't know if I actually followed the one on this map, but luckily it's not easy to get lost since the park isn't huge and there are plenty of people around. The views of Napa, and hills between Napa and Sonoma, are great!

Quick and easy neighborhood hike - I come here once a week. I like that there is the option to do a short up and down to the summit with amazing views of the entirety of downtown Napa on one side and the Sonoma hills on the other. Great for sunsets or sunrises over the ridges. The longer perimeter trails are fun to explore, though I'd say the east trail is moderate with steep declines with poor footing and several parts with steep ledges. The west trail has a nice sunset view over Sonoma from a bench under a tree and has an outlet onto Thompson Road.

Would rate as moderate not easy, had some good inclines and nice chunky sections. Lot of trail runners :/ loved it though (!).

Such a perfect morning walk for an East coaster who is up a little too early. The smell of the eucalyptus trees is amazing!

Short but fun. Parking is Free, but they only have about 16 parking spaces so we had to park on the street. A mixture of joggers, families & groups but not too many people on this Sunday morning in the Summer. Enjoyed the loop.

The hike was a little confusing if you have no idea where you're going, there are a lot of ups and downs and many different trails to go off on. I would not recommend hiking on a warm day. Beautiful views in certain spots.

Very beautiful. Smell of flowers through out the trail. Peaceful to head woodpeckers.

Nice to walk dogs.

We visited the park on March 19th and found it to be a great area with lots of shade on those hot days. The trails are well maintained and easily located.

I'm happy it's a dog friendly trail so my hiking buddy can come. Great views and workout. Nice benches to pause and enjoy the breezes and surroundings.

very nice, some areas were very washed away, slippery overgrown grasses, had to use my hiking stick.

It's a lovely area with many different trails to choose from. I usually come here when I'm in town visiting and it's a great mini-getaway. Views are great.

Fairly easy hike and is a great place for jogging or running. Has a good amount of trails so you can keep going instead of heading straight up to the top and back down. There is a great view of napa at the top. It's right on a main road which makes for easy access but it still feels like you're out of town.

Really liked it. You can go different ways & keep adding hills to get good workout. Great view at top. Well traveled for solo hikers. Easy access but nature feeling. Great!
