The trail is warm at 7 am on a June day. I passed cordial runners who shared friendly good mornings. I lost the trail temporarily a few times and circled back.

Nice trail. Maintained well throughout. Steady and easy climb for the first part, then a good steep stretch through the shaded canopy. Brought my 8 year old son and he enjoyed it too!

Great hike! The earlier you get here the better. Lots of sun and not too many bugs!

Beautiful trail, some uphill towards the end, it was very hot when I went, be sure to get a tan, not crowded, small waterfall on the way, a few horses.

Had a lot of fun exploring all of the different connecting paths. Some lead down to the water and some lead more uphill. Very fun.

Good easy/moderate trail. Cute waterfall and nice views of the river. Moderate number of people, but as crowded as some other hikes in Auburn. Recommended.

Great easy to moderate trail. Slightly muddy due to recent rain but manageable with hiking boots. We had perfect weather today but it is exposed in parts, summer would be warm. Not too crowded, several other groups, runners, and horses out on the trail but it was never crowded. Great views of the river

Some parts of the trail were a little hard due to the rain but other than that it was a nice trail. I would say it was easy for the most part just a few parts that were difficult it had a great view of a waterfall and some awesome views of the river. Not too many people were on the trail but I think that had more to do with the rainstorm the day before we took it.

Easy to get to but roadside parking can be hazardous because of traffic. Good trail, easy on my dog, with great views of the river/canyon. Mostly hikers and runners and occasionally some on horseback. The switchbacks near Robbie Pt. were the only part that I thought was moderate. the rest is pretty easy

Nice waterfall and well-marked. We didn’t have to pay for parking either which was a plus. Definitely bring water since there are stretches without shade. Watch out for scat since the trail is shared with horses.

Nice trail! In summer, get out early before it gets hot, as only maybe a third to a half of the trail is actually shaded. Second third or so is what makes the trail moderate, as it’s mostly uphill at that point. Good hike though, and lots of friendly people on the trail!

Easy hike along a mostly flat wide path. Short sections of a more narrow trail with easy inclines. Beautiful views! There is only one confusing point on this route where you meet multiple trail heads. Take gate 134!!!
