This is a great run with both flat wide fire roads and single track trails. It works great in either direction. The top part is along the ridge trail, which is a fairly flat and easy job. Take the second trail head down (not French - though that works too). This is the the most technical part of the run, because the trail is smaller and less well maintained. As you get to the bottom, the trail becomes wider, flatter, and follows a stream through a redwood grove. Take Prince trail back to the top to complete the run on the other side of the ridge trail.

parts of the trail are a little battered from the last storms, but overall everything is still well maintained and the trails are wide which allows for good social distancing. The trails are also pretty fun to navigate especially along Tres Sendas. parking can be tricky as there are not a lot of spots.

Lovely! Not too crowded but we started early. A bit of a climb midway but not too challenging.

Amazing morning hike in the redwoods! I’m constantly amazed that this treasure or a park is so close! Lots of people walking their dogs.

This trail is beautiful, especially the first half. Try to go around 5 pm for a gorgeous light in the summer. Be aware that Prince Road is a little steep on the way back. I totally recommend it!

Nice moderate trail in shade and sun. Pretty popular, but not too crowded. Some moderately steep downhills going counter clockwise and one steep uphill in the sun, but I think you could do this trail either direction and be fairly happy. Pretty in the redwood grove. Decent view of distant mountains at some points in the sunny areas.

relatively easy for moderately active people. Nice variety of scenery: sun shade forest stream. gradual elev changes, well maintained except for fallen trees and small turns that maybe confusing. but all of the trails bring you back a loop

Nice walk through the red wood forest. Overall, pretty easy, but a few steep areas. We went on a Saturday and it was crowded—hikers, bikers, families, dogs.

I've done every inch in Redwood. Briones, Redwood and Mt Diablo were my go to hikes for the 20 years I lived in Concord.
