Very nice trail with lots of shade and beautiful views of the valley. Some longish inclines but nothing too steep.
awesome trail to share time with my daughter. Pretty steep though
I liked it because it was very quiet probably because I went on a cloudy day.
almost full shaded, narrow in places but didn't matter cos it was less crowded. Must do hike..
Nice shaded trail with plenty of space for passing people. Fairly crowded on Sunday afternoon between 12-1pm. Would recommend this as a family friendly trail with opportunities for bird watching! The views of downtown San Jose were great.
Nice intermediate trail! Beautiful day, saw 2 salamanders, 2 blue jays. Great views of San Jose. Some exposed, some shaded.
Nice easy and lightly traveled trail. Some good views. One lane in most areas. Good for groups of only 1-2 hikers.
Easy hike. Gradual elevation and beautiful view of Almaden Valley make this trail interesting. Lots of shades but trails are narrow and watch out for bare roots and small bumpy rocks on ground.
Nice trail hike, some parts are single and some are wider, with mixed amounts of shade and exposure. Best to go in the early morning!
I liked the idea that the trails were less crowded. it was nice and shady more than 75% if the way.
Shady which is perfect for the hot summer days... Trail is narrow at some spots which is difficult for social distancing but people were great with masks. Next time I’ll go left at the fork instead of right. I had a great workout but in the heat - not so much. I looked at the trail map and noticed it looked like a snake.
Just a handful of people did not respect soical distancing and did not wait for us to pass while we were going downslope.
