Trail isnt very well cleared so we didnt make it all the way up, and I’d say mostly not kid friendly due to some steep drop-offs. Wonderful view of the lake at the top.

Visited this trail a couple of week ago. Nice little trail that winds up to a pretty cool overview of Bass Lake. Little smokey from the fires near Yosemite when I went, but good little trail nonetheless.

Nice mellow hike to a great view. Guide posts along the way tell about the area. Some were knocked down due to recent tree clearing. Great view at the top.

Worth the breathtaking views once you get to the top! Lots of trail markers that have photos and some historic educational info as well about the area, plants, trees, etc. Pretty easy trail for just about everyone .

Easy for adults with no hiking experience. I took my four year old son and we were in flip flops. EASY!

Very pretty view of the Bass Lake but after the Courtney Fire all the trees were burned and it was sad to see what hadn't burned be dead from all of the bug kill.

Great view of Bass Lake and (sadly) the recent burn area. We continued on the trail beyond the summit and fought to be a loop back to the parking area.

nice Easy trail. Was not dressed for a long trail, but good enough to add one to my accomplishments. Also the trail very informative. I would take this trail with young one because they could learn and accomplish a trail. The views at the top are great for photo opportunity.
