Took trail from Chandler Motorway adjacent to Mt La Tuna. The trail appears to have little use and has some overgrowth but is still visible. The easiest access is at the end of Village Avenue adjacent to Village Christian. There is a gate marked to prohibit parking but there are no private property signs posted and access is easy.

Took this trail starting from Chandler Motorway, on the south side of the Verdugo Mountains, where the trailhead is on public property. It was a super foggy morning -- we could barely see the planes take off from Burbank -- and unusually quiet, except for one helicopter, which we later learned was Kobe Bryant's. Spooky and sad. Coincidentally, the crash site is near a trail we hiked last fall: the Calabasas Bark Park Trail: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/bark-park-trail
