The trail is one of my favorite because it’s close to where I live. You feel like a get away on a gorgeous hill with the smells of botanicals and the combination of sea and mountains. The views are amazing. The trails have many spots to climb casually or a great workout and after the healing that’s been done after the Thomas fires and the hard work of volunteers, it’s an amazing place once again! Enjoy! Peace.

Moderate uphill hike with spectacular 180-degree views of the California Coastline, downtown Ventura, local agriculture and the Ventura Avenue area. In the springtime, the Gardens are profuse with the flutter of butterflies and the drama of native flowers. Many historic stone walls were uncovered with the Thomas Fire, and repaired. The walls now provide a beautiful backdrop to the exuberance of flowers and scenery.

Reopened! Not much to see yet - only one of three gardens planted at this point. Very exposed, so bring your hat.
