Nice views of El Cap. Worth incorporating into lower Yosemite falls trail and bridalveil.

4-June-2017 Note: portions of this trail have been flooded out and are inaccessible. Thus you spend some fair amount of time detouring and walking along the road. Check with a ranger first to find out what the situation is as it will greatly change your experience.

Some nice views of El Capitain but you can see this anywhere in the park. We took the extra leg to go further to Bridalveil, which couldn't come soon enough. Still an easy trail to do as there's virtually no elevation change; some areas where you have to precariously cross streams that the inexperienced may have some difficulty with. Note that extension to go around to Bridalveil tacks on a good 4 more miles which you're slightly regretting toward the end as this becomes a six hour hike; you're waiting for it to be done but mostly because of having to walk on the side of the road so many times.

Bring plenty of water too: there are no fill ups along the way and the floor can get warm. We were OK but did start to ration some toward the end. (2 20oz bottles each)

Lovely walk and included the extended part 6-7 hours to take in Bridalveil Falls and El Capitan and crossed over at the bridge. Some of the paths you have to cross the water via fallen trees or stepping stones. One we couldn't pass as the river/snow melt water was so strong but we just walked along the road for a little bit. you really get away from the masses and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
