There is no trail. It is basically rock climbing down the side of water fall. Unmarked. Definitely NOT easy. Got a few feet in and had to abort- my dog couldn’t rock climb.

Trail is not easy friendly. The map leads to no where. Map want you to cross the stream right below falls and in November....sorry I’m not taking a chance hahaha. You can get some nice pics though. Coming back up my phone lost connection and I didn’t get credit for the hike. Oh well, next summer!

The last week has been spectacular and the view of the falls from the bottom plus the sound of the falls at the top are excellent. I’ve seen these falls frozen and almost dried up so the current power of the falls is mesmerizing. Love the sounds. Today several folks standing at the parking lot staring up at the falls saw a huge storm take over the mountains and stir up the winds as it brought huge drops of rain. Long shards of lightning and loud thunder sent a clear message: seek shelter. So we drove down to town and the rain left us alone. It was a perfect excuse for stopping for chai tea lattes at Stellar Brew.

I feel like the first picture is a bit misleading. I’d be surprised if it’s actually the same location. There’s a great view of the lakes from the top but you can’t see the falls. You have to go down to the Twin Lakes campsite and walk toward the falls. You never get close enough to see a great view. And nothing comes close to the view in the first picture posted.

It was fun! I did the short walk then hiked down to the actual falls. Gorgeous views!

The trail recording sends you to some cabins but not to the falls.

Beautiful views from the top looking at the lakes and top of the falls. Have to go down to the campsite to see the full waterfall but it was worth it.

Must go down to the campground parking area to see it from the bottom Such an amazing peaceful time to sit watch and listen

Great Views from the top of the falls. While there is a steep and rocky use trail that goes down the river from the top of the upper falls most people just walked to the top of the falls.
