Park at the parking area on S Park Dr.
great trail! I started my recording based on where you can park since you have to walk in to access the trail. A bit rocky, a good workout, and some great views
Wide dry trail easy to spread out. lots of parking and portable at trailhead. great views San Pablo Bay and Dam, Briones, SF and the Golden Gate
you have to walk on the side of the road for part of it, and the trail by the lake isn’t marked well. otherwise it was a great hike!
Fog whipping across the top of the ridge, sun breaking through from time to time, the sound of roaring motorcycles in the distance...
At the start of the hike, there was a nice little incline. There was a decent amount of foot traffic, but not too much. There is very little shade, so make sure you bring plenty of water.
The views are beautiful in one or two places. Other than that this is nothing special. Too rocky and boring for a hike. I believe this trail is a better fit for mountain bikers.
We took seaview to quarry loop. It was easy 3.8 miles with lots of views of SF on the seaview trail then quarry back towards the car.
