Such a lovely walk! I like to walk the trail and then go into downtown Davis and check out the cute shops.

I enjoyed the quiet and peaceful walk around the water, the addition of the plants and wildlife just made it that much more of a pleasure.

Nice trail! There is some repair and a detour but still a nice walk.

This is easily the best part of campus if you are trying to relax or just walk and talk.

Not much of a challenge since the entire path ia flat. That said, this is an absolutely beautiful trail through the flora around the UC Davis campus. And because it is flat, you can accumulate a ton of miles in your training runs and hikes. All you Fitbit users will like it because you can get thousands of steps in walking around the path and campus. Additionally it is common to come up on turkeys, ducks and other wild life throughout the campus. It's also nice to stroll in the many various places to eat and get a drink while your out.

super pretty loop for a run, bike or walk w/dogs...one of my pup's favorite places to go. FYI from a safety perspective, it gets a little bit abandoned as you get to the artificial lake area just before the equestrian center. also be aware there are frequently leaves, pine needles debris out there as well so be careful on the downhills

I've made the loop numerous times with a friend who lives in Davis. It a popular local route for walking. As described it very easy. I usually learn something new about flora on each trip. Walking along the water is nice, with lots of ducks. Great place for a casual walk either alone or while having a conversation with a friend.

Beautiful October day, all the leaves are turning colors. I parked at the Gap parking lot it’s Sunday so I didn’t get a ticket, I guess you can also park across the street from the theater. It’s an easy walk and there is a restroom when you come to the first ramp by the first building their is a sign saying restrooms are by the theater which is by the street. A lot of ducks , squirrels and turtles.

Nice for quiet romantic walks in the early evening. Nearby eateries are good for a quick bite, afterwards.

Nice Stroll in the park on 12 November 2016. Was a little crowded and noisy especially around the Southwest side near the freeway. Lots of turtles and waterfowl in the waterway and various types of plants and flowers along the trail.

Easy, nice walk. No open bathrooms around. Not a lot of shade on the trail so you wouldn't want to go on a hot day.
