Nice trail it starts off as a trail like a mile have up there is a cheating area parking so you can go to the M from there the other half is a dirt road take a service road for all the cell towers if your scared of cell towers I wouldn't recommend it other than that it's nice it's a little work out great views

This trail was great. There was a steady incline but there were some parts it leveled out. I didn’t finish the whole trail but went about 5 miles there and back. Trail changes from rocky to sandy at one point. It was a great workout, be prepared with water, snacks, and sunscreen. You’re lower body is putting in some work! Half way through the trail it opened up and was flat and wide for horses and dogs. That part was even still a great hike. There was a lot of rock formations, flowers, lizard, birds and insects. In the beginning some parts of the trail were just a tad overgrown. Very much doable. Near the beginning there is some water running over rocks you can walk to the side to see it and can hear water running too. It’s nice. Great change is scenery through out the hike. I also saw a mountain biker so that is possible. Saw someone with their dog as well. Weather was sunny and breezy about 75 degrees. Not too heavily trafficked did see some people though.

Awesome place for a run or hike. Two trees is particularly beautiful - springs, wildflowers, Mountain views. Just awesome. Box springs mountain road is less interesting but you will get some amazing views of Moreno Valley and the San Bernardino mountains on a clear day. Also people are saying this is “closed” due to covid but there is no way to “close” it (no gates down on two trees trail), no ranger, and there have been plenty of people there.

I don’t understand why people write one star reviews just because the trail is closed due to COVID19. I mean duh! Everything is closed! Lol! Some people!

Great and really beautiful hike for being in SoCal. We brought our small dog and she did good, just keep your dog on the leash. Fun hike with a good workout and nice views.

Great choice for a cool day! It would be very hot and difficult in the summer. Awesome changes in scenery throughout this hike.

Perfect time of the year for this trail. A little crowded between the trailhead and the road but the trails to the north were nice and less crowded.

This hike is a really fun hike if you happen to be in the area. Lots of nice Views, but with little shade. Bring water and sunscreen in hot days.

Nice trail. Went with a group to train for higher peaks. Definitely doable for beginning hikers. Take extra water if going in the heat as there is no shade. There is a parking lot half way up with a porta potty if needed.

Steep. I ran this and it’s steep for the first mile and half and then less steep the next 2 miles. Since this is an out and back, you guessed it, just as steep on the way down. The ground is hard clay like so don’t be prepared to fly on this trail.

This was the perfect hike for my evening. I started late so while I made it to the top without the headlamp, I used the headlamp to get down. The first and last mile is trail, while the miles in between are fireroad. I imagine it could be quite hot, but it was really quite beautiful at sunset. The fireroad made the night hike significantly easier. Loved the views of snow covered San Gorgonio and San Bernadino.

No one on Two Trees or the M trail on a Tuesday morning. There were a few hikers and a mountain biker on BSM Rd. but overall a very quiet hike. Two Trees is rocky but easily manageable with lots of signs of burro activity, though by 9am they had already moved deeper into the hills. BSM is a service road for the cell towers that are on most of the peaks, so expect the occasional pickup to come by. I added a portion of the M trail to get to the MoVal M below where the road ends. My GPS signal was compromised at the M, maybe from the towers that were above me? Because of that my recording shows 9.5mi and over 3000ft gained; it was actually more like 7.4mi and 1900ft gained.

Shady most of the way up early on a fall morning, but pretty sunny coming back. Peaks were marred by telecommunications equipment, but the views were impressive. Spring trail was a nice detour on the way back.
