Hiking

Great hike for beginn-intermediates but WARNING, AllTrails underestimates by about 10%! The first 1.5 miles take you through beautiful winding trails and you get views of Riverside; this is probably the most challenging part of the trail in terms of uneven terrain, and it's not so bad. After that you reach the BSR Reserve and for the next mile you get a modestly easy and wide dirt road with very little elevation change. Then the winding road to the radio towers gives you another modest workout. The dry climate and lack of water mean you should bring a bottle with electrolytes if in doubt. At the top are the radio towers and if you make it to the last one, you will see the big M for Moreno Valley and how gigantic it is (it looked so small from the freeway). To the south are amazing views of Riverside, Moreno Valley, and even March Air Force Base! To the east are views of San Bernardino Mountain, San Gorgonio Peak, and even San Jacinto Peak. To the north is a view of Hidden Springs and the Sunnymead Lake.

Two Trees Trail. March 16, 2021. Just wanted to preview the trail while I was in the area before it got dark. Good climb to get your heart going and a nice view. I plan to return early someday!

A true moderate Hike. The first 2 miles are a good incline that gets your heart pumping and there isn’t much shade. Bring at least 2-3 L of water. Saw a snake so be on the look out when it gets hotter outside. Nice views and overall a good little challenge.

Love this hike. Gets your heart going and doesn’t let up until the top. I brought my dog; she liked it, too. Took a social trail on the right to go down,,,it was fun because it was different. Not that easy though to cross back over to Two Trails. We managed it! And keep a eye out for burros. We spotted some!

HikingGreat!

First 2.5 miles is the best , trek poles are a plus & elevation is rapid the first 45 minutes. Great views and trail !! Parking gets full quick on weekends. Moderate level

Great trail. Lots of sun exposure though so put on sunscreen. Pretty rocks poking through the hillside. All uphill and then all downhill. Wish we had poles for the first 1.5 miles.
