Easy trail except for one steep part. View at the top is a mood during sunset. I could see many high school couples trying to vibe out here. At the bottom there’s a goat herding area, pretty cool. Also, our group saw three cute bunnies in the middle of the trail, definitely a highlight.

The trail was a little confusing at first but after a small detour into the neighborhoods we figured it out. Moderate traffic on a late Sunday morning, we enjoyed the steep hills and view of the city from the top. Would do it again

Easy to moderate trail with a bit of uphill. light scrambling. There are multiple social trails, so, easy to deviate from original trail. I had to refer to AllTrails map for guidance, to stay on the right trail. Trail starts at the Chaparral park and continues through the park. free street parking.

This trail was ok. Good for a workout and to get your blood moving. Nothing too exciting. Lots of houses surrounding the trail.I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back.

Parking on the street in front of the park. Half of the trail is on paved sidewalk, but you eventually hit a trail. Steep, fun rock scramble leads up to the small peak with gorgeous views of the valley and ocean. Trail Rating ***** I’d do it again tomorrow **** I’ll do it again, it after I hike new trails ***I’ll do it again if someone asks **I’ll begrudgingly do it again *I’ll never do it again

Beautiful view of surrounding community once you make it up the steep incline at the onset of the trail. Dirt surface which had some large ruts from water drainage created a bit of a trip hazard. No overhead canopy but there are plenty of beautiful wild flowers on both sides of the trail in a few areas which offer some shade. You can continue further on this trail for different paths and the fun of more inclines and declines continues. Definitely need to be in good shape for this trail.

Very easy, short hike, but pretty steep so you might be out of breath when you get to the top. Pretty nice views from the top of turtle rock.

It’s quick, all uphill but it’s a clean workout. Grip running shoes are better but I had some simple athletic training shoes on and did fine.

This is a funny trail. Starts with a park, then bunch of stairs so you feel like you’re more on a masochistic walk than a hike, but eventually you get on a trail that leads up the mountain, and then it’s hiking again. Nice climb, pretty 360-degree view of the city from the top.
