Woo hoo! Steep trail— we can’t go all the way due to the Tram being closed.... a little disappointed, but otherwise it was a great workout!!

I really enjoy this hike. It’s pretty much straight up on an asphalt sidewalk about 3.7 miles then straight back downhill. Minimal traffic. Dog friend. Verrrry little shade. Make sure you have enough water and a hat.

On asphalt - there are nicer dirt trails around, but they were closed due to COVD-19.

Paved path along roadway. Tram opens at 10 am so go early before heavy traffic. I enjoyed the workout. It is a steady grade to the top. Spending time at the tram station was well worth the effort.

Constant smell of burning brakes from cars driving down the road from the Tram and broken glass all along the road/sidewalk (we had our dog). Too many other great trails to hike in the area. Skip this one for sure.

Participated in the Palm Springs Tram Road Challenge, and what a challenge it was!! It was grueling and tested your fortitude, but at the end of it all, it felt extremely rewarding reaching the finish. Would I do it again? Yea, I believe I would. The view looking down was amazing and the weather (in October) was perfect!

kick ass trail, tough but worth it. Early part of the trail marked very well but markings subside the higher you get

Did this trail at 06:00 and it was stunning. As we turned around to come down I got an amazing photo of the sun rising to greet us.
