This is to hiking as a stroll through Central Park is to hiking. Go for a walk through the park. Don't go for a hike.

Amazing hike! Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, enjoyable ,easy hike . My 5 year old loved it!!! I traveled from Mesa, AZ just to hike this trail and it was definitely worth it! I will be back!

It's Torrey pines it's a classic. Yeah it crowded and overrated but still 5 stars. Bring your mom or kids here for a chill 'walk' up and down the cliffs. When it rains sometimes it gets washed out so heads up.

This is a great hike for some amazing views. It can get very busy with large groups of tourists during weekends so I recommend doing this during a weekday. If you are looking for a longer workout, the Guy Fleming loop branches off of this trail (.6 mi). I use these trails during the work week to train for more difficult hikes.

During high tide you may not be able to walk on the beach easily. Check the tide before you go!

Despite the easy rating: 1/4 of the hike is a steep hill. You gain all of the 300+ elevation at once so it's like climbing 15 flights flights of stairs. About 1/3 of this loop is an uneven dirt trail so I would highly recommend wearing athletic shoes and being mindful of rattlesnakes.

Free parking is limited along 101 but there is a state park lot that charges $15 for the day.

Great trail routes, especially the views you are rewarded with! When you get to the end of the beach trail you can't help but stop and take in the moment! Breathtaking!
