Lots of horse poops and no shade. Not redeemed by the view at the end which is just ok.

Simple and short trail along the paved road. Incline most of the way up with a nice view of the cow pastures and Browns Valley. Rope swing on the back side of the trail. Dog friendly hike

Private property

***PLEASE BE AWARE *** Please be mindful of the private property signs. The trail ends at the private property signs and it is very important you stop and DO NOT go any further our cows are having calves and the calves easily scare at this time. It has been a huge problem with people walking onto our property and not paying attention to the posted signs. We even have people ripping the private property signs down. The problem is it is spring and our cows are calving. During the day the moms will hide their babies out and go graze then come back to them later. The calves are hidden in the grass or bush and when people unknowingly walk by them or dogs that are off leashes find them they chase them, and when the moms return for their babies they are gone and they are unable to find them, and the out come is very bad. We love for people to enjoy the scenery, but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be aware of our babies and “DO NOT GO PAST THE PRIVATE PROPERTY SIGNS”. PS. We just had a set of twins born three days ago (it is rare we get twins) and they were about to nurse and these boys with their dogs that were not on leashes rode long boards right next to the mom with her new babies it scared them. The two babies ran different directions and it was very difficult to find them and bring them back not to mention the stress it brought on the mom. I hate to think if we were not there watching from a distance what might have happened. Thank you for understanding. BUHMAN RANCH

This was a great hike. Most of it is on an old road. One little spot isn’t. Lots of families out today. We enjoyed it and will go back!

This is a great short hiking trail. I brought my dog and was one of only 3 people hiking today. Great views. Watch out for cow and horse dropping three are lots of them. Especially when you near the top of the trail where the best views are. Other than that it's a sweet little spot.

Nice trail. Gets heart pumping. The one washed out area is a bit steep with some difficult footing, but it is a very small area. I’d recommend taking a pole for that bit if you are at all unsure of your knee/ankle strength. Otherwise easy uphill.

Great like lunch break pop hike. I would say it's a little more on the easy side of moderate. You'll encounter crickets, garter snakes, cows, deer, and all sorts of birds. Gorgeous views at the top. Very low to no traffic, so you'll have the place to yourself. Perfect for wandering and connecting with nature.

Great trail with few hikers. Cows are all around and as long as you ignore them, they'll ignore you. definitely not easy-- it's a moderate uphill trail.

This trail was a great match for the 4 of us. The view of the Napa Valley was beautiful. We want to come back in a few weeks and gather blackberries ♡

Fantastic walk up to the top of the hill. Grass is a bit tall at the top for my preference, including thorns and thistles. Beautiful views of the valley. Will comeback!

It was a great day to be outside but I think this trail was a little steep. I wouldn’t say it’s an easy hike.

Loved the views along this trail. We had it all to ourselves. Although it was a tad windy, it was a nice little jaunt up to the summit where you had great views of the valley. Also ran into a friendly cow along the way which was fun. Some cool old trees up near the top as well.
