Beautiful trail between Antonia Parkway and Coto De Caza. A nice short loop for a daily jog.

Beautiful Trail! We did it during a gnarly heatwave and we were hot and tired! It’s a mixed bag of beautiful views, shade, sun, water, and cacti!

Good hike. Went with my tween daughter and we both did the whole loop in under 2 hours. It was exactly 2.2 miles from the trail head. Go left for the loop so you do the steepest part first

Was longer than 2.2; closer to 4 miles per fitness tracker. Great hike with decent amount of steep ups & downs. Great views & lots of wildflowers.

Anyone know if this trail is known to have mountain lions?

I would recommend taking this trail all the way down under Antonio to Meandering Trail for a longer, more scenic hike. This loop is good for a shorter hike though. It can be muddy at times after rain though.

I am a complete beginner, i walked up most of the inclines, & thought i was going to eat it most of the way down. but i made it, & it was fun. scary with so many rocks, lost traction a bunch. i felt like it wasn't an easy path
