Fun and quick trail with a bunch of ups and downs. Not too challenging, but it definitely gets the blood flowing. Super quiet on a Friday late afternoon.

An excellent workout with ups and downs most of the route, several of them very steep. More scenic than we expected, with nice views in all directions. No shade to speak of, so wear a hat and sunscreen. Mid day we drank a liter each and I was glad I had some waiting for us in the car. Easy street parking in a nice residential area near trailhead. Truly lightly trafficked— on a Sunday afternoon we only saw 4 other hikers.

HikingGreat!

Great workout. When you get to a slope that seems impossible to climb, look for a small alternative path on the side. Also, we recommend going in the opposite direction than the app recommends, as it makes much more sense to tackle the hardest hiking at the beginning. Would prob avoid in the summer as there is no shade.

Not that pretty/semi hard. Ups and downs. Not too busy on a Saturday cloudy day. Could keep my pup off leash for parts!

Woof, this one's tough. I understand why they call it Tiger Tail -- just up down up the whole way out. Did this one fully loaded as part of a longer training hike for an AT thru. Trekking poles are a must -- really saved my knees and ankles. Also, word to the wise, when you get to that last drop-off before you reach the tree/summit -- the one that's so steep it looks like you're just stepping straight off a cliff, you can't miss it -- there's a switchback to the right through the brush. Take it. Not only will it save you a rough slide down and a hard scramble up (likely into the sun if you go in the AM), but it's also the only real shade on the trail besides that tree at the summit. It's not labeled on AllTrails or Google Maps, there's no signage, but you'll see it right as you're deciding whether to call it a day and turn around or risk all manner of trail rash dry skiing down. Good luck!

Hiking

Difficult trail due to hills. There is some very steep sections. the weather was 69 degrees and at points where the sun was peaking through the clouds it was very warm. Very exposed I can imagine summer would be brutal with the heat.
