Tierrasanta to Mission Gorge is a 2.4 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near San Diego, California that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

2.5 mi each way, this trail will take you up and down hills and even across the San Diego river (bring extra socks!). The Tierrasanta end of the trail features the Quarry Rock Loop and is mostly downhill. Starting on the visitor side will be more uphill. Overall this is about 1.5 - 2 hrs one way.
This was my first time on a hike since I moved here to San Diego from Michigan very beautiful scenery moderate hike. First of many more to come.
Went exploring to scope S. Fortuna. This is a different take on Mission Trails. But it is a pretty cool side I'm sure a lot of people don't see.
