You have to walk a ways down the beach to get to the pools which isn't bad but there aren't a lot of pools so it gets a bit crowded if there are more than 10ish people.

1 hr 45 min to get here from Riverside. NOAA said low tide @ 12:43, left at 1:30, never got to see tide pools good enough to explore. Enjoyed the walk from general parking, decent, clean, and relaxing

Super easy. The tide pools are pretty once you get there. But the direction have you park near a mexican restaurant, & the first half of the walk is on the sidewalk to get to the boardwalk, which is more sidewalk. From there you can walk on the beach for a while. The tide pool area is really rocky & fun to climb around, but good luck getting any kind of cardio on this walk. It is just pretty & relaxing.

Not difficult at all. Unsure why it is labeled as so. Nice hike/walk.
