Very pleasant stroll. Stay to the path, avoid the shrubs—many of which are poison oak.

It was a nice little walk and saw a lot of bird wildlife, but maybe because of Covid there was quite a few people living along the river in this spot now. It’s a great little trail, just make sure you bring a dog or a hiking partner if you go. I’m not saying homeless people are inherently dangerous, just as a solo female hiker myself, better safe than sorry. Hopefully we can start taking better care of our people and make the River a little safer in the future.

Beware of loose dogs!! We made it about 200 yards from the parking spot before we were approached by 2 loose dogs. I think they lived in a nearby house, but didn’t see an owner with them. One was a German Shepherd mix, and was rather aggressive, barking at us and snapping at my dog. My kids and I were forced to retreat to our car and find a slightly different route in order to keep the hike from being a total loss.

Made it about 500 feet in and was met by two pretty vicious off leash dogs with no owner in sight that tried to attack my dog. I was able to pick him up and get away luckily but will not be back.

HikingGreat!

Had a quiet fun hike with my teens and dogs. Loved the nature walk especially the water view. Great time to unwind here. No signs or arrows to lead you wherever so we were just guessing if we’re on the right track.

Nice easy flat hike but disappointed in the trash along the way. Picked up what I could carry out.

Flat easy levee trail. Lots of birds to check out! We went down onto the single track and found lots of downed trees blocking the trail.

Loved it. Not a fan of gravel, but nice and easy walk and loved walking near and by water. Super peaceful.

Quiet, easy walking trail. Took our time with a toddler and a dog. Place seems popular, passed several groups on the trail, all were courteous and wore masks. Turned around due to “no trespassing” signs. Enjoyed fresh air and scenery.

Nice long stroll, not many places to stop and sit on the first half but great oak trees and birds to be seen. At the very beginning there’s a few homes off to the side with unleashed dogs but they were fairly harmless

Nice casual walk, good for running. No marker so not sure if we were always on the right trail. Water amazingly clear, lots of people fishing. Cool start at 9:30, got quite warm in the sun around 11. Wear layer in November.
