Completed this loop 7/25-30/19. Absolutely beautiful, made better by the closure of the HSC this year due to late snow. So just a few backpackers at each camp. The mosquitos were horrible, head nets a must! Trails in pretty good shape, with some downed trees and a few deep creek crossings. Overall fantastic!

I completed the five Camp Circuit last week at the end of the season. It was very enjoyable as the weather was fine, no mesquites, and great people.

A Yosemite classic of fantastic trails and campsites. Makes you think twice about planning your summer trip to Yosemite Valley because after this hike you are only gonna want to do this hike. Each camp is roughly 8 miles apart, making it not difficult to get to each campsite. Just the right amount of work out and then celebrating being at your next campsite. Fantastic views each day and every day is special on this trail. Can't say enough good things about it
