Had the place to myself during Smokepocalypse 2020 at 8AM. People ruin everything. ;)

Easy walk. Mostly shaded. Saw a juvenile black bear on the path back to the parking lot, but was able to shoo it off.

Quick easy loop with amazing views. The size of these trees is astounding. Easy to do with family and young kids as the trail is a paved walkway

We did this trail about 9 am and were surprised by a black bear in the meadow about 20 feet away from us moving toward us! We froze and it slowly turned back to the meadow where it was searching for food! We also saw a mule deer nearby and then a cute marmot inside a hole of a Sequoia tree! Easy quiet trail and a LOT of wildlife that morning.

A short, gorgeous loop trail around a meadow lined by sequoias. What is there to dislike? I actually saw a bear for the first time, too! So cool.

Absolutely beautiful. We went late in the day to avoid huge crowds and we had the whole place to ourselves. Very easy stroll on pavement.

A beautiful walk surrounded by some of the largest trees in the world. We went during winter and it was snowing. Definitely recommend, very easy and so worth it.

It was a nice walk through the trees and around a beautiful meadow! We even got to see a bear. It is a very easy stroll and well marked. Our whole family (even 3.5 year old boy) was able to easily walk it without any issues. Would recommend for sight seeing, but not if you are looking for a hike! Noticed that is definitely gets more crowded mid day. Would recommend getting there early to beat some of the crowds.

Perfectly maintained pathways. Family day outings. Lots for the kids to learn about the geology of California. We went on a windy day and It was scary with branches and pine cones falling.

Such a gorgeous walk! This trail was a perfect end to our day in Sequoia NP. I would likely use this as either an early morning stroll if I were camping in the park or a nice walk to relax and take in some beauty between more grueling hikes. The meadow was beyond stunning. I really can't put the beauty in to words. This trail is an easy must for all visitors!

Nice and easy - more a walk than a hike. It was our first stop in the park after long drive - nice way to stretch!

This is not the way to see the giant sequoias. Do “Congress Trail” from general Sherman parking.

This was easy and beautiful!!!! Lots of big trees and a few very noisy marmots. The interpretive signs are well done and a nice treat, since all of the park services are still closed. If you love sequoias, this is the perfect walk.

One of my favorite places I’ve ever visited. I saw bears, large squirrels, bees buzzing, such a lively little meadow. I can understand why John Muir called this home.
