Hard to find the trail at first. Lots of trash near the trail head. Steepest bike I’ve done this week. Very nice once you get up a bit

Great trail! The trail was kind of difficult to follow but the map on the app REALLY helped us get to the top. A lot of the trail is straight up and would be difficult for elder people definitely couldn't get through with a stroller or bike but the view is amazing. I went with my 10 year old sister took multiple little breaks on the way up so it took us a little over a hour and a half.

Steep for sure and slippery at places, but doable if you’re in good shape. Also NO shade at all so beware. Didn’t make it to the top because my little dog (20lbs) pooped out halfway up.

great hike, with a great view. All incline. sometimes the city locks the access gates to the trails which totally sucks!

lol this is not a moderate hike. the first mile or so is a straight up climb. got some scrapes and bruises on the way down, slippery gravel on top of boulders at a steep incline. was fun though. maybe it was rated moderate cause its short.

Great hike, nice elevation gain. Can be rocky, slippery gravel, steep. I really like this hike, great workout.

Of the 2 hikes we’ve done to Terri Peak, this is the steeper one. The one from the Moreno Beach area is more gradual and less steep. About half way up there are a couple spots that are steep and rocky. Once you make it through there, it’s smooth sailing to the top.

This trail is decent. It is a good weekend hike to go out locally and enjoy some good views of Lake Perris. I began my hike by parking nearby the end of Grande Vista Dr. The trail is not labeled so I would recommend using the maps here or the aerial view of Gmaps. The route is simple to follow make a turn upwards after passing the small hill pass the grass field. The first half of the hike is very steep. Once you reach the top you can get amazing views towards the lake area. (Ignore the big warehouse on the west end of the view) When you depart just be careful with the steep part of the trail because it can be really slippery. Use good traction shoes to help with your hike!

Rugged. Definitely need shoes with traction. Going up is difficult at times, but coming down can be a challenge. Worth the trip, pack water and snacks.

This is a challenging trail, it has beautiful views at the top. But for me no real scenery or beauty or plant life even along the way It’s super exposed to sun too.
