About 3.5 miles. Great trail. You have to cross the river about 4 times total.

Nice wide trails, many short interconnected trails, many poorly marked. Kept AllTrail active to ensure accuracy...

Really enjoyed this trail but got stuck at one of the creek crossings in the second half of the trail. I ended up going back to avoid the tricky crossing. It's possible that the water was just high in spring

I did this as a part of a longer loop around all of lower Nisene Marks. The elevation gain is not too intense on this part and you have a great creek crossing in the beginning, so I think it would be fun for kids/families. I see a lot of them by this part of the creek. My dog also loves splashing in the water. There is a picnic table on the far side of the creek. The water is already pretty deep after only the second rain of the season, so I could see it becoming impassable after heavy rains. The fall colors are very pretty now and the forest smells amazing!

Wanted nice views and to be able to take my dog. Followed the creek, did hit some fallen trees but nothing to crazy. If your dog likes to swim, it will love the creek. In the beginning there’s a part where the creek is pretty full and my dog just kept running in it.

Fun hike, this is where most of the people go. Not a lot of elevation gain but the river is cool.

As previously stated, the "trail was difficult to follow near the stream. There were many fallen trees crossing the narrow path near the stream and an overgrowth of bushes."

Loved this gorgeous park. The scenery was a 5 star, but this trail was difficult to follow near the stream. There were many fallen trees crossing the narrow path near the stream and an overgrowth of bushes. Definite trail maintenance with a chainsaw is needed. The first stream crossing was challenging but we made it across with dry boots. The second stream crossing was too much for us (and for the couple we saw trying to cross in the opposite direction). We gave up on the trail and headed back to the parking lot on the main trail.
