Great little hike with a cool destination. If you're really on a kick, you can complete all 3 volcanic hikes in the same day -- Devil's Kitchen, Boiling Springs and Terminal Geyser. End with some well-earned food at the Drakesbad Guest Ranch. Watch out for bears.

nice morning hike, keep an eye out for bears! The trail was easy to follow, lots of wildflowers in bloom!

A little muddy in places at the start. Good loop as both trails are different. Gorgeous yellow flowers (Mules Ears?) in a huge meadow on the PCT. A few down trees but not bad.

The trail was easy to follow and well marked. Enjoyed the views during the journey and the destination was great! A fun hike while staying anywhere on the east side of Lassen or Lake Almanor area. Posted a picture of the black bear we saw up there last summer.

Gorgeous field of yellow flowers (Mules Ear?) on the PCT part of the tail. Some wet parts of trail at the beginning. A few blow downs. Makes a great loop, since both are different.

Trail is very well marked and fairly easy. The lake is absolutely spectacular- make sure you check it out at the highest vantage point of the loop! The geyser was also super cool. Overall, I definitely recommend this hike!

Watch out hot rocks.

The geyser was an interesting sight, but the high light was the trail and all of the wildflowers blooming in early June. Still a great hike if you're already planning on seeing boiling lake.

Geyser at the end wasn't much to see. However the hike was good. Also the boiling lake can be seen on the way to the geyser and that was very cool!
