Tallac - Aloha - Dick Peak - Emerald Bay is a 22.8 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Spring Creek, California that features a lake and is rated as moderate. Start at Tallac trailhead. Hike to top of Mt Tallac is fairly strenuous. Camp at Gilmore lake (get a permit!). Day 2, leave your pack, and hike to Lake Aloha and back. Day 3, summit to Dicks Peak (summit is tricky and optional) and then descent and camp at the bottom of Dicks Lake. Day 4, Hike out, take a swim in Eagle lake, take the shuttle ($2 pp) back towards your car (1 mile hike back)
