Took this trail on Saturday as it opened at 7:30 and it was quite warm, but that made the cold water feel great. The waterfall got crowded by about 10 AM. Don’t go off trail as they are blocked for a reason and there were a few snakes around according to other hikers.

Excellent trail. Nice climb on the way up. Waterfall at the end. Nice shady (depends on time of day) return.

Exceptional hike — the waterfall is beautiful at the half point of the loop trail. There’s a small waterfall prior to the 6ft water fall that was lovely. The hike is steep and it’s not shaded majority of the time. There are many view points to enjoy. Definitely, recommend this hike when there’s less people to simply enjoy the sounds of the waterfall. We plan on returning.

Had a good time at this trail, specially with the prize at the end: a refreshing waterfall. It was very hot (100 degrees) when I did this hike. I would advise to be aware of the heat at this place. I did notice on Sunday, the parking lot was empty after 1pm. I guess that would be a good time to come if you want to avoid crowds.

Super easy hike for toddlers, advice to go earliest in the morning to avoid too many people and the sun. Beautiful shaded waterfall at the end.

Nice hike and once you get to the main waterfall it’s worth it all.

The cost is $12.50. We went on a Saturday and it was beyond crowded esp. On their main waterfall which we couldn’t enjoy so we started walking out and found a smaller one where we got in and chilled for a cool minute, but eventually the ranger (from the other side of the trail) told us to get out and followed us to make sure we stayed ON the trail. I guess it’s really nice for a family hike but that’s about it. Rangers are strict.

Beautiful challenging trail with high steps/stepdowns. The trail is a must hike here in ps. you will need 32oz of water and a mask or face covering, but waterfalls makes it worth it!

Fairly easy. Nice views. Water stops the whole way up to refresh or relax.

Amazing. About 2.1 miles, lots of nice wildlife and blooming flora. Bees buzzing. Moderate difficulty with a little bit of up and down, lots of large steps. Waterfall and stream are absolutely beautiful and provide a unique opportunity for different plants to grow.

This was an excellent day trip to Palm Springs from San Diego! The waterfall felt so good after the short hike! There are 2 ways you can go, 1 is a bit hard than the other. There is a fee. Flushable bathrooms at the beginning/end. We even got to see mountain goats! That was awesome! We went during late February and the weather was fantastic! around 75!

The fee is ridiculous and excessive. The trail is decent, but the fee makes the entire experience feel like a rip-off. Won’t be going back — there’s tons of beautiful trails for free elsewhere.
