Amazing short but sweet trail starting at the visitor center with a cluster of some of the most amazing scenery and biggest rocks, one can not help but to ponder what life was like thousands of years ago for the indigenous people of this area. The waterfall is breathtaking and the water is surprisingly chilly. Not a leg or nothing, but DEFINETLY worth the $12.50, just the waterfall alone.

pretty short drive but 12.50 usd per person for a natural path seems to me to be an abuse .... prohibitive ... damage

A well travelled route to a cool, and freaking waterfall. It has many steps - walking up. Steep mountain slope. and would recommend walking stick or poles for the descent. Went with varying experience hikers... it is a hot hike with a few shade spots. Good for my dad (71) who was at the top of his comfort level of hiking. But the way down was much easier for him. Bring 1L + of water.

Gorgeous easy hike to the waterfall. There’s no shade and quite hot even in the mid70s. Expect breathtaking views and lots of lizards! Also avoid going on the weekend in the middle of the day if you want less people. It’s only $5 since it’s still on summer prices at the end of September.

Do not follow this particular map. I scrambled in on the side of the mountain. There was a class 3 obstacle. The rest was class 2. On the way back we scrambled on some rocks off trail as well.

I would recommend wear closed shoes, trail is easy but there’s a lot of rocks and dirty and there is a lot of stair like rock boulders you have to climb to get to trail. We did 29 minutes to the water fall and 24 back. Definitely plan to get in the water it’s very refreshing and worth the hike. Water it very cold.

I would recommend wearing your bathing suit to swim in the water/waterfall. Also bring water shoes. It is very cool water, but you get used to it and it makes the hike back a lot easier in the hot weather. It is also a nice spot to relax and have lunch once you get to the waterfall, so pack a lunch. I would also recommend bringing a hiking stick for easier climbing and steep trails.

I’m not sure I’d call this hike easy. There were many uneven steps and not much shade. To me easy means flat like in a nice stroll. The waterfall was beautiful and I enjoyed going in the water.

Fun little hike. A lot of climbing but only a mile there and a mile back. The waterfall is beautiful just make sure to get here right at opening or else you will be with a large crowd.

This was a really nice hike! It’s pretty easy but would recommend going early morning because it can get super super hot in the summer! We paid $5 bucks per adult because of the summer season.

Outstanding trail. Very short easy trail with a gorgeous waterfall where you can wade/swim located just 30 minutes (1 mile) in. Gets very hot but water is very cool. Last trail entrance today was at 3:30pm. Cars had to be out of parking lot by 5pm or be towed. $12.50 a person payable via cash or credit card.

Mother’s Day May 2019 the waterfall at the top of the trail was beautiful and raging. Sat and enjoyed the water, people watching and a light snack before the return.

Super easy trail with gorgeous views & the waterfall is amazing right now. Saw a small group of Bighorn Sheep, tons of other animal footprints, & even my 2nd Speckled Rattlesnake! If you want to avoid the crowd & the heat, just make sure you start in the early AM & you'll be good to go. Have fun, & hike on!

Short and sweet, beautiful giant palm trees, can refresh in the water. Pretty crowded and very hot, bring sunscreen.

Beautiful, simple hike. So peaceful when you get to the actual waterfall, great for mediating! Lots of water flowing... your feet do get a little wet crossing the stream, but nothing major and well worth it!
