Nice hike, quick loop, great views. We went right when the trail opens (7:30am) and it was perfect, still hot but not too bad!! Waterfall is very cool. Heavily trafficked trail, would recommend going on the early side, and bringing lots of water!!

You have to pay $12.50 to use the trail, but it's worth it! Truly an oasis in the desert. We spent a while swimming in the water under the waterfall. The trail is really well maintained and has beautiful views of Palm Springs on the way back.

We were not expecting the serene oasis at the waterfall. We met lovely people and took in the gorgeous surrounding.

Great little hike with a very refreshing dip in the chilly waterfall basin at the top. Lots of lizards and more flowers than most areas around here.

It was a fun trail to do with the family. The waterfall was beautiful. The water was cold but refreshing. There were a lot of people.

Fun hike! We are in our late 50s and have been doing some big hikes so this was really great. It’s really 2 miles but I’d say a bit harder for some than “ easy”. Great for kids. No need for hiking poles. Bring water sandals and a towel to where in pool at waterfall. If you don’t have water sandals bring extra socks as putting dry socks on wet and Sandy feet is tough. We loved the floral and gains found along the creek. Say a large lizard and many small ones. PS- the $12.50 charge is worth it as the hike has parking and restrooms at the start. We normally pay for hiking passes in Oregon so this seems worth it.

Very nice waterfall and pool at the end. Only drawback is that the tribe charges $12.50 per person to hike here. That seems a bit much if you bring a large family.

This is a easy a beautiful 2 mile hike with streams and waterfalls. It’s worth the required price of admission that’s charged at the visitor’s center.

Well marked trail. I’ve been sedentary over winter and there were some parts going up to fall I was winded but a doable hike to start getting back into shape. Loved seeing a waterfall in the desert, you can get in the water as well. Definitely a favorite desert hike, I like loops with a reward. Go early to avoid heat & crowds, lots of water.

Yes it’s very popular so get there early if you want to avoid some of the crowd. But beautiful waterfall in the middle of the desert with interesting historical info. Not hard but some pretty rocky and steep spots. Unless you want to carry the little kids may not be ok for some smaller kids.

Beautiful spot with the water running. Good, easy-to-follow paths and stone stairs. Elevation can be a workout if you keep up the pace. Go early to avoid the heat and the crowd!

The rangers are very unfriendly. I wanted to buy a bottle of water for $2 and they refused to take my debit card because I did not have an ID. Besides water and Gatorade they did not have anything else to help hikers. Also, I could not use my debit card to pay the entrance fee. I am Mexican-American. Rangers are white. The mountain is very barren, with no wildflowers and not a single tree. All the bushes look very dry despite it rained yesterday. Ready for a wildfire. I do not recommend this place and will not come back.
