HikingGreat!

Very well maintained. does cost money $12 for adults but it's worth it as most waterfalls so easily accessible are scorned with graffiti and this one is pristine. Waterfall is only a trickle right now but the water pool below is cool and crisp and deep enough to swim.

Short hike perfect with kids in tow. I suggest going early part of the day to avoid extreme heat exposure as there’s little shade (from big boulders) to no shade for most part of the hike. You will be rewarded with massive shaded area at the end, great for resting and “waterfall” if timing is right. Hiked this mid October and it was dry as a bone. There was no fresh water from top, but only pool of leftover stagnant water, reaching ankle level. Husband spotted frogs in it and made his dipping feet experience short lived. Nothing special about this hike beside the larger than life rocks, making it fascinating to any newcomers.

Great hike with the family, loved the small water pool, even though waterfall is dry. 5yo hiked loop no problem.

Was very excited to hike, drove all the way there to find out we couldn’t stand 20 feet away from the building without wearing a mask. Then was told we are required to wear a mask throughout the hike, in 100° weather... not worth it when the waterfall is dry and when you have to pay to get in.

SO Beautiful. The cost is worth it. I liked it maybe more than Indian Canyon... It’s a pretty easy hike at 1.7 miles, but still get’s ya movin, and if you need to the South Lykken trailhead is right at the end so you can tag on 20 - 40mins of switchbacks on to the end of your hike if you need more exercise.

Easy little hike on a nice day (90 degrees). Saw a lot of lizards, no snakes. A small amount of water still coming down the falls. Definitely accessible for kids and seniors.

I was really worried about this trail because of the mixed reviews but it ended up being wonderful. We went on Friday so it wasn’t too too packed and we even went at like 1 o’clock when it was super hot but it’s only like a mile and change to the waterfall in a mile and change back so it’s really not that hard of a trail in the waterfall is 100% worth it. Saw a lot of critters and tons of frogs in the waterfall. Definitely well worth the $12.50.

Nice and easy hike, but very busy, including the waterfall, which is also too full to be enjoyed. The place is FULL of monkeys who decided they don’t need a mask. Super frustrating. Aaaand... the useless ranger doesn’t wear a mask either and doesn’t enforce the rules.

love this hike only problem is the fee which I totally understand. take both my kids on the trail regularly one is 1 1/2 the other is 4 they love this hike! would reccomend going early since the sun is pretty intense! I soak my kids in the waterfall for the hike back! water is very cold but extremely worth checking out!

It was a great experience. The trail is pretty much going uphill and little shade on the trail but once you get to the waterfall it’s so worth it

Took this trail on Saturday as it opened at 7:30 and it was quite warm, but that made the cold water feel great. The waterfall got crowded by about 10 AM. Don’t go off trail as they are blocked for a reason and there were a few snakes around according to other hikers.

Exceptional hike — the waterfall is beautiful at the half point of the loop trail. There’s a small waterfall prior to the 6ft water fall that was lovely. The hike is steep and it’s not shaded majority of the time. There are many view points to enjoy. Definitely, recommend this hike when there’s less people to simply enjoy the sounds of the waterfall. We plan on returning.
