Still snow on the trail, very full creek you need to cross as well, can be done :)

I was a little confused by this hike, and I think it was the directions to get there the AllTrails app provided us. The directions (we came from Basecamp Hotel in Tahoe City) led us to a neighborhood cul-de-sac that provided no trailhead marker or sign of any sort... There was just a pathway that looked "hike-ish," so we started from there and ended up having to backtrack. It was a nice woodsy hike, though, with some peekaboo lake views in one section. It was very flat and an easy walk, but no trail makers along the way.

Nice woods hike but came too late in season (September) for flowers or flowing water.

Fun, moderately easy trail. If you hike up from Ward Canyon, there's a bit of a moderate uphill hike to reach the meadows (there are several, linked meadows). If you want a 98% level hike, you can find a trailhead at the very end of Silver Tip Drive. Just walk down the fire road a short ways (1/4 mile?), keep right... And then look for a path to the right... It's just a few hundred feet down this path to the first meadow. Walk along the edge of the meadow ...at the end of this meadow swoop to the left (follow the 'pavers') to head towards the other meadows. There are many wonderful, meandering walks throughout this area.

Hiked from Tahoe City to Ward Creek and back, about 5 miles each way. The Tahoe Rim Trail follows the Truckee River for about a quarter mile or so, then starts climbing up the canyon above Granlibakken, passing just above the zipline course. The trail passes a trail junction (down to Granlibakken) and continues climbing. There is another trail junction at the two mile marker. At this point, the trail levels out for the next two miles. Page Meadows are in this two mile stretch. Just beyond Page meadows, the trail follows some logging roads down to Ward Canyon Road.
