HikingGreat!

I still get shivers thinking about standing on the precipice at the end of this trail. Incredible valley views from a great height.

HikingGreat!

Awesome little hike on top of the world. A bit dusty with some minor uphills. When you get closer to the point you have a bit of a steeper downhill (uphill on the way back) but it’s 10000000% worth it. The guardrail is a good view but the real Taft point is a bit further down. All of the awesome pics of someone standing out on the point are take from the guardrails. Enjoy and take water- look for lots of birds, lizards, and chipmunks.

The view was incredible and tons of trail options branch off of this one. If we had longer and no plans I would love to spend the day exploring this area. The fissures are cool but Taft point is in my opinion even better than the view from glacier great place to sit down near the edge and enjoy the view or eat!

Wonderfully Easy Trail - Riddled with Mini Squirrels, such a cute sight to see while walking down the trail. I wore hiking sandals, trail was perfect, not to muddy, sandy, or dusty. just perfect! and the views were absolutely mesmerizing! don’t be too scared! hold tight to that railing and look out at our gorgeous world!

I did this easy trail in hiking sandals. Lots of people were headed up for Golden Hour with photographers. Gorgeous views of the Valley 3,500 feet below.

Its an easy hike with a huge reward and I found this hike to have far better views than those at Glacier Point. Far less people and way more room to play. I could have spent the entire day there. Great place to watch the sunset.

The fissures give you an appreciation for the sheer drop and the lookout point is awesome. If you are careful to stick to the trail, it will lead you to a railing where you will be safe.. any other pranks, and its a very short cut out of this world.

The view is all that and more. The view from the railing feels safe but don’t let your guard down! Fantastic view of El Capitan! A lot of people come here for the ledge pic. It’s not as dangerous as it looks so long as you don’t do anything stupid. Like some of the jackasses I saw up there . Oh and be careful around the fissures especially with young children

Easy hike with little challenges. The view at the end is nice. If you’re afraid of hikes I would t recommend because there are no barriers. Get to close and you will go tumbling down and it’s a really long way down.
