Views are Great, but it is hard to find the rite trail they go in every direction

A great hike, but a long slog to the top through Harper Canyon. The going is pretty easy near the bottom, but gets progressively steeper as you get higher up. As the wash gets narrower you have to start boulder hopping, so it is slow going and hard on the knees (especially on the descent!). Its worth it though --- the views from the top are spectacular, and if you are looking for a wilderness experience, this is it! I didn't see another soul the entire trip, and the summit register shows the last time the peak was visited was over one month ago. The pads of paper in the can have dates that go back over 15 years --- so not many people visit this peak.
