I loved this hike. The Mill trail is closed for maintenance because it is unsafe at this time, so we had to take the stream trail back to Tres Sendas and get to French trail from there. The views are gorgeous, and there are enough breaks between the uphill climbs on Tree Sendas. I’m definitely doing this loop again, and can’t wait to try the Mill trail route when it reopens.

I loved this trail! It's not too difficult, mostly flat. Although the trail head is pretty crowded, it clears out a little ways down the trail. Nothing starts the day out better than a stroll through the redwoods!

Short but challenging hike that takes you through a variety of foliage. This is probably the shortest loop that you can take that gives you a little taste of the different trails the park has to offer - West Ridge, Stream, and a couple of my favorites - French and Tres Sendes.

The trail starts out on the drier, less scenic, northern part of Stream Trail. But after about 3/4 mile, it becomes more lush and then you'll connect with Tres Sendes. You'll see some large downed trees and a stream crossing. You can have some fun here and walk across the tree or cross the water by hopping across some rocks.

Tres Sendes, Star Flower, and French trail take you through the heart of the park where it is quite beautiful. You won't see many people this deep in the forest. Most will stick to the ridge trails and stay close to the staging areas.
