BEAUTIFUL! What an awesome little trail! I think that people should just take a minute if they’re in the area and visit. A great sitting spot. Just chill... * No parking fee. (But not a lot of parking) * GPS works. * No toilets.

This little beauty is such a hidden gem. Beautiful madrones and so many pitcher plants along the river.

Short trail along the scenic North Fork Smith river through woodlands and unique serpentine botanical zone. Cross the creek and continue up the canyon, there’s a large stand of Darlingtonia. Please respect these beautiful, rare plants and the wilderness canyon where they grow. This hike is a great way to experience the vast wildness and unique geology and plant life of the Smith River area.

very easy and quick hike, but the scenery is amazing. Lots of Darlingtonias (carnivorous plants) and wild berries along the way. The creek is gorgeous and secluded.
