Great trail. Busy but only because of a race. Everyone was polite and courteous throughout the trail

Beautiful trail but it’s a shame to see the dog poop on the trail and dog poop in bags.

HikingGreat!

First time on this route and will definitely do it again. Trails closest to the parking lot are busy, but there were very few people on trails further in. Watch out for mountain bikers, some trails are very narrow and windy so it's best to keep your ear buds out to listen for them.

Beautiful trail, went after it had rained and some puddles but not too muddy. also was overcast so not as hot as it could be, it's exposed the whole way so if it's sunny definitely prepare for a hot one. Arrived at 630am and parking lot was empty, finished around 930am and the parking lot and street were full. Some parts are definitely steep, but not too difficult overall.

This was a pretty cool trail! Nice and short with awesome views from the peak. We left at 5am to beat the heat and got to the peak in time to watch the sunrise. There was a lot more people on the trail on the way down.

Fantastic, well-maintained trails and spectacular views from the top of Stanley Peak. Suitable for more conditioned hikers and dogs with more than 4-6qts of water Minimum! Very hot with little shade - even if air temp is only 80 this trail will feel like 100 out of the breeze. Uphill a majority of the way, and very steep. If you bring enough water and snacks and stop in the shade before heading up the hill, you should be fine!

HikingBugsGreat!No shade

I did this trail on a Saturday morning and began at 6am. There were a handful of other hikers on the trail but was able to find parking with no issues in the parking lot. This trail offered beautiful views of North County San Diego and was very hot. Bring lots of water and a pair of sunglasses if you are starting in the morning. There were alot of large flies at the peak but didn't take away from the view. Will definitely go again!

Friday 5/22/20: Parking lot is open at half capacity, and no street parking is available on La Honda. Trails are great, nice and wide to stay away from people but it wasn't too crowded. Not much shade, but a great little trail for hiking or running when it's not so hot out.
