Nice gradual incline. Parts of the trail remind me of the hike to Mt. McCoy (The Cross in Simi). I went on a Monday around 9:45am. I was alone on the trail most of the time. I’ve encountered more bikers than hikers. Some wore masks but those who weren’t were polite and turned their backs or kept their distance. The view downhill was better

Easy moderate short hike. Not much to see as you are surrounded by brush most of the way. Nice view at the top /turn around

Lots of greenery, trail gets a little narrow and rocky. Watch your step. Great views and great workout.

Good cardio workout if you push it in the way up. I think it's much more workout than vista loop trails.

Lots of mountain bikers out on the trail and most were equipped with bells which was helpful with all of the switchbacks. Trail was easy enough with our 3 young kids and there are a few benches at the top to take in the views. Will be back with my mountain bike next time.

Super fun on mountain bikes, in fact, my favorite. Lots and lots of switchbacks, then a beautiful trail to the corral. 5 stars for sure!

If you’re a hiker like myself who seeks peace and no stress, the constant rush of mountain bikes from both directions on narrow trails isn’t conducive to support a peaceful experience. Constantly on edge and checking surroundings every minute. Cut my time short because it became laughable how many times I got rushed and had to stop because the trails are too narrow to support.
