West end of this trail is super sketchy and not run-able. I lost the trail twice. Views are really pretty and I only saw one person.

I hiked this trail today round trip from the Westwood neighborhood and back through 4S ranch for, about 10 miles total. Did not see any other hikers along the lake, but did have to use google maps a few times to find the trail. There are several very steep bits, so be sure you’ve got good boots/shoes. Be sure to bring plenty of water as well.

Great easy trail. Did it during the week and came across only a handful of people on the trail. Nice views of the lake. If you want peace and quiet, this is the spot. I needed Google maps to follow the trail properly and not veer off the main trail.
