Grass was tall and almost covering trail but other than that, nice short walk to cool overlook.

I took this trail in a Saturday pretty private only 1 group of hikers passed me. The first part of the trail is pretty rough lots of loose rocks and loose dirt, kinda like a 4 wheel drive or horseback trail but after the first mile or so it turns into a normal hiking trail. To get to the water it’s an extra mile but when you do get make it to the bottom there are nice picnic tables to relax under, even camping if you wish to.

This trail is heavily used by horses. There is a stable and horse rentals at the trail head. The trail is in very bad condition and is rutted, muddy, and unsightly. I don’t recommend it for walking.
