Need to amend the trail description to reflect the fact that dogs are NOT permitted on Bodega Head trails. This area, especially the beach sections, is considered to be habitat for the federally listed western snowy plover as well as habitat for the long-tailed weasel. Plenty of other beaches to walk your dogs but NOT this one!

Nice easy hike! Beautiful views of the ocean!

Great place to explore the coast. Not a long trail, and very easy.

This trail goes along the breathtaking Sonoma Coast in Bodega Bay. We walked with our dogs and baby stroller. There are some areas where Milk Thistle impedes travel. I got a few pokes but nothing major. We saw three dawns and two does while hiking.

NOT a dog friendly trail. Dogs not allowed on trail. But it's a great short trail with great views

Beautiful view, but because of the cliffs I would not call it kid friendly.

Hiked 4/14/17: This is the most scenic walk/hike I've ever been on! It was windy, but clear blue skies and so many wildflowers this time of year. It's really only a walking trail, but we went off trail which added a little intensity and distance. You must take the stairs/ladder down to the beach...there are several picnic tables in the parking lot overlooking the beach. There are also restrooms.
