Came down from Orange County and had a full day jeeping on some really fun and somewhat challenging trails -- reminded us of a mini Moab with the sand rock and lots of off-camber terrain. Staged at the Chevron a little west and headed over on old highway 80 mile marker 37 staged and air downed. Drove over to "the Wall" -- funny how it runs to the east and just stops so people can just walk around it. We went in and ended up at the old observation building and then back down to trails 185 and 155 to get over to the elliot caves. and valley of the moon ? and came out at the trailhead. Really fun and technical trails. met up with other jeepers, a large group of hikers and some rock climbers along the way. will be doing this again.
