Pot holes, road craters and road dust, oh my. High clearance vehicle recommended. Stunning scenery but awful road.

This is a beautiful ride through timber country. I was 14 the first trip and I have loved it ever since.

AWESOME!! Had a great time starting at the Battery Point Lighthouse in Crescent City, CA. Fantastic scenic drive with many pulloffs and lookouts for slow-pokes like me who like to take in the scenery. Great trail down to the bank (quick and easy hike/walk) partway through the drive to soak in some river power.
