This is a very short but neat walk to Silver Bell Mine. At the base of the hill there are a few old artifacts remaining. There are two large wooden structures remaining that held the ore, and the old mining road and cuts. The mines themselves are filled in.  There is no trail across the desert from the small pullout/parking area (maybe 4 or 5 cars could park) on the park road, but it is only 1/3 of a mile across the desert to the base of the hill, where it is obvious where the old mining road leads up the hill. It is only another third of a mile up the hill to the large wooden structures. It is also worth the short walk to the top of the hill behind the wooden structures as the view all around is great.
