This is a fun trail that has one obstacle which requires a 4L. It's good for people just getting into off roading. The route is a little rocky in the beginning but nothing too crazy and once you past that part, it's pretty much easy. The road is narrow in some parts, but has some turn outs. Once you get to the top, the road widens up and you get a really nice view!

I was there about 3 weeks ago and went with a group of 11 others. I felt like the drive up and through the creek was really the roughest part. There was pinstriping on a full size truck due to overgrowth on the dirt trail. I was able to do it in RWD only and did not need to turn on 4H.

Awesome trail, but a large tree was down and seemed super sketch. Thing was clinging on, ready to start rolling potentially? Jammed between a few smaller trees. Hope someone can remove it soon

Tree down in the final section before the hairpin turn and we had to backtrack out. We came back to 3N29 and took it down to Lone Pine.

New to off-roading. Ran this trail in a Jeep Wrangler. Little bunny in the beguine but like others have said nothing out of control. You will get some pin striping in sections due to overgrown plant life. Took about 1.5 hours at a slow leisurely pace and a few stops for pictures.

Nice trail, saw snow during the last few miles. Mainly dirt with some gravel and loose rocks at the downhill near the end. Could probably do this with a 2wd. Completed with an outback and 4x Tacoma.

Just ran this in a stock 2021 Jeep Rubicon. Super easy and chill. Rocky and muddy with some snow near the last 4 miles. Very beautiful! One technical offshoot is available if you like.

We started from the bottom off of Cold Water Canyon. Took Lytle Creek Road from the 15 fwy till it ends and turns into 3N06. Took 3N06 to the 3N33 up the mountain. Took the 3N33 to the 3N31 which is the Sheep Creek Truck Trail. At this intersection you can take it back the other way and check out Gobbler's Knob, we didn't but maybe next time. Beautiful views at the top. We continued and took the 3N31 all the way across the top and then down to the north(backside) and ended up at the bottom onto Swarthout Canyon Road.

I felt the trail was easy definitely need 4WD. Very rocky, would recommend airing down tires. Bring a lunch and enjoy the scenery!

A bit icy for the last mile or two, but otherwise clean trail. A bit rocky in certain parts, small sharp rocks, but overall great conditions. Ran into a handful of other vehicles, but with all the turnouts, it was manageable to move over to allow them to pass.

Snow/ice for a very short stretch on the north side/shady section was sketchy. I was slipping on Wildpeak AT3 at 20 psi. A slip could possibly send you off the cliff. Take it slow and steady.

Great drive. Little snow and was sketchy for a mile or two. Some big trees were fallen on the trail and we had to move. Bring a shovel and or axe. Finished in just under 3 hours. Only saw one other vehicle up there. Go slow around blind turns.
