Kinda cool area but fishing sucked, and not much shade. Marble fork is a much better choice

Good, well marked, four mile down and back from Shake camp. Tule river running pretty strong decided not to cross. Nice pools to cool down in before hiking back. Plenty of shade along the way

I backpacked this trail last February and once before three years ago around the same time. It is a great trail with some good fishing along the way. Not too difficult.

Just came off this trail on 8/4/13, didn't do the loop but backpacked it from Mineral King in the Sequoia National Park, it is a steep climb if your going to MK but very scenic lots of trees and meadows

This was a wonderful hike along the Middle fork Tule River and Seqouia's. Rather taxing with lots of ups and downs. The Eastside trail is less traveled, but easy to follow to Galina Creek. The connecting trail between Galina Creek and Griswold trail disappeared about 10 yrds up from the creek. The path is a steep scramble up dense forrest terrain. I would recommend heading back along same path or take McAnlis trail back to camp.
