Always a good walk after work. Beautiful views at the top and several fun pathways during the second half of the hill. Can get a little busy right around 5:00

nice views of ocean and Islands especially if you keep going as high as you can wandering around the Botanical Gardens Trail and by the sheriff department city of Ventura shooting range and in between. there is a good steep railroad tie steps path up above the cross that is a thigh burner. A good to local hike for my skiing workouts. cool ocean breezes add to its character.

Great first hike! Tons of beautiful scenery and is hard enough to make you sweat but easy enough where you aren't miserable! Will do it again!
