This is a super easy trail. Good for children but I would not recommend it otherwise. Not much to see and felt underwhelming.
Beautiful hike on a well kept trail. it was a very easy and gorgeous hike!! An absolute must! It's a popular one so be ready to encounter a lot of people and parking is tough to find sometimes. But worth it! You can pretty much see the whole park on this walk! There was a pretty good amount of snow, but it wasn't an issue getting around. There are some parts of the trail that were icey, so watch your step. Yosemite falls was down to a drip, understandably of course. Highly recommend!
Needed an easy hike to take my family on, this one was great, we started by the lodge and ended by the lodge which was perfect for my son because he got to have a cheeseburger and fries right after the walk.
We had an amazing hike saw a mamma bear and cub 10 minutes into the hike. The falls were really close so we continued onto valley loop to half dome view point.
Lower Yosemite falls is currently dry. Interesting to compare it to pictures online when the water is flowing. I enjoyed the meadow part of the hike. Saw a few deer nibbling in leaves and also watched a couple ravens eating a fish. Ducks were playing in the river. There are also some nice photo ops of half dome. Very easy hike.
Very nice and easy walk, try to go early to avoid the heat, however u can definitely see people do the weird things. I saw a guy with a Drone and I asked him if he has a permit. He was totally clue less that Drones are illegal in National parks! People step on plants to take picture, which is sad bc there are signs to not do that.
