Great views of the coastline from the pier! It was an easy and accessible walk on a boardwalk. We even saw two dolphins jumping a few times!

Instead of just walking 0.6 miles to the end of the pier and back, turn this into a 2.5+ mile loop! I like to start at Main St and Electric Ave. Follow the wavy side walk path through the tree lined green to the end. Continue further until you get to the fence adjacent to the Naval Base. Make a right. The side walk path continues around along the ocean. Finally go to the end of the pier and back to your starting point. I like to time it so I catch the sunset at the end of the pier. Explore some of the side streets too and take in some of the interesting architecture for an even longer walk.

They are doing construction on the pier and hopefully putting another restaurant at the end. The last 250 feet or so is closed. This pier is in a beautiful place and there’s never a bad time to visit here!

Seal Beach Pier is still under construction. Consider the south side pier boardwalk instead. Today is/ was the 75th anniversary of the Seal Beach Naval Weapon Station and I got my steps in on the guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton CG-59.

Typical boardwalk/beach pier. Views compare to other places, the most unfortunate aspect is the reality that the pier is undergoing construction - meaning the end is NOT accessible.

Beautiful pier walk. Easy, flat and fun to watch the swim meet in water and the people fishing.

I believe this is the longest pier in Southern California. Easy but scenic. Fun places to eat drink and shop in nearby DT
