The Raptor Ridge Trail is closed indefinitely due to unsafe conditions. Please check the Jenner Headlands Preserve website for more information: https://www.wildlandsconservancy.org/preserve_jenner.html With that trail closure, this trail will be a shorter out and back.

A nice day hike, especially when we added on Hawks View and the Wildflower loop trail to make it about a 7 mile. The Wildflower Loop trail still has some blooms, so that was good. The Raptor Trail was pretty muddy and slick down at the bottom..use caution. We encountered several hikers who had turned back because of a couple of aggressive bulls. While we did have to pick our way through a couple of sizable herds...happy to report no head butting occurred!

Did the Sea to Sky loop to Raptor Ridge trail, missed the Raptor Ridge trail turn off at Red Barn... ended up all the way to park boundary at Jenner before we figured it out... added an extra 3 miles to our hike. Beautiful views, wildflowers, and variety of terrain.

Raptor ridge is open! Still quite muddy, with a few detours along the way. But open and manageable

This is an awesome trail with some beautiful ocean views! The Raptor Ride trail was closed when we went which made it more of an out-an-back than a loop

Great views! Would not consider it difficult rating “hard”. We brought our 5 year old who was able to do the entire hike. Really enjoyed seeing the cows grazing along the trail. Nice parking lot with decent bathrooms and dogs allowed on leash.

This is a brand new public trail on the Jenner Headlands Preserve. The trail starts and ends in the moderately-sized paved parking lot just off Hwy 1. There are spectacular views of the Pacific and the mountains to the east. There is no drinking water on the trail, so bring your own.
