Sawyer Camp Trail: San Andreas Lake to Lower Crystal Springs Reservoir is a 5.3 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Millbrae, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
A lovely, paved family stroll with little incline and a scenic lake view. Accessibility: The main trail surface is paved asphalt, typically at least five feet wide, and has a mostly gentle grade except for at about 0.3 and 1.1 miles when going south where it is steep - estimated between 8% and 12% grade. Wheelchair and stroller users may need assistance in these sections or may want to start from the southern end instead.
Flat paved hike, only downside is the barbed wire fencing which lines the entire trail and is a bit of an eye sore
Route closer to 6 miles than 5. Versatile wide paved trail good for walking, running, or biking, though pets are not allowed. Bathrooms available. Mostly shaded. Spotted a lot of deer and birds and even some chipmunks, which I rarely see around this area.
