Pretty easy trail with a mostly flat paved road and plenty of shade and benches. Great for cicyling or running. Unfortunately we had to do an out-and-back because half the loop was closed. Also the entrance marked here is closed - if you're coming from San Jose take the millbrae ave exit, then take a left at the second stop sign. There's no proper parking lot but you'll see a bunch of cars parked along the street and the trailhead is clearly marked.

This is now shut down, the loop back and suggested parking at least. Just do the Sawyer camp trail.

On some days this was on my way home from work... A nice stop before home. I've done many, many remote trails but on this one I saw the only mountain lion I've ever seen on a trail.
